With a heart especially bent for those who haven’t yet turned their lives over to Christ and for those who have forgotten Who He is, Sylvia is also committed to doing whatever she can to help feed starving and diseased children all over the 3rd world through her work with her beloved World Vision.

Serving as a worship leader in her own home church (The Rock Church in San Diego), Sylvia is also popular as a speaker in churches around the country as well as a guest worship leader. Most often found speaking and sharing at women’s conferences, church services, singles and recovery events, she has earned the reputation of being extremely easy to work with as she speaks and sings with class, discretion, maturity, and an eye ever-focused on Christ.

Still a current member of the popular independent Christian contemporary group Crimson Bridge, both with and without the group Sylvia has had the privilege of ministering with, and touring and sharing the stage with many musical greats. She speaks and performs 80-100 times a year and also leads a popular workshop called “Dramatic Invisibility” (www.dramaticinvisibility.com), aimed at helping worship leaders and worship teams become stronger. Having recorded three solo albums, the first of which with producer Mark Craig and the latest produced by the wildly talented Peter Sprague with whom Sylvia also recorded her second solo CD, Sylvia has also recorded several projects with her beloved “Crimson Bridge”, the most recent of which is the contemporary CD “Brand New Mercies”, produced by Randy Ray Mitchell and Billye Sluyter Johnstone.
