Out of the box in her message, her style, and her belief about the mind-blowing power of Jesus Christ in a life that’s fully turned over to Him, an experience with Sylvia Lange is one audiences don’t soon forget. A gifted communicator and singer, Sylvia Lange has a special ability to get straight to the heart of the matter in everything she does and says. Her songs are powerful and her beautiful voice, coupled with her extraordinary ability to communicate, impacts the listener on a deep level. Her style ranges from rock to pop to country, but mostly resides in that soul-tearing, beautiful, contemplative realm that listeners of all ages can appreciate. Whether she is speaking in a church service or sharing at a women’s conference, Sylvia’s infectious passion is immediately evident as she candidly shares her personal story, interspersed with her unforgettable music. Although her carefully chosen songs are executed with great skill and beauty, it is her personal story that captures the attention of the listener and draws them into wanting to know more about the Jesus to Whom she owes her life. She speaks with refreshing openness about the painful and sometimes pothole-filled path she’s walked, however, also speaks with Spirit-propelled authority about the healing, victory, and new life that are possible in a life sold-out to Christ. Sylvia believes all she has to offer really is her experience, strength, and hope and shares it with all who will listen. With a heart especially bent for those who haven’t yet turned their lives over to Christ and for those who have forgotten Who He is, Sylvia is also committed to doing whatever she can to help feed starving and diseased children all over the 3rd world through her work with her beloved World Vision. Serving as a worship leader in her own home church (The Rock Church in San Diego), Sylvia is also popular as a speaker in churches around the country as well as a guest worship leader. Most often found speaking and sharing at women’s conferences, church services, singles and recovery events, she has earned the reputation of being extremely easy to work with as she speaks and sings with class, discretion, maturity, and an eye ever-focused on Christ. Still a current member of the popular independent Christian contemporary group Crimson Bridge, both with and without the group Sylvia has had the privilege of ministering with, and touring and sharing the stage with many musical greats. She speaks and performs 80-100 times a year and also leads a popular workshop called “Dramatic Invisibility” (www.dramaticinvisibility.com), aimed at helping worship leaders and worship teams become stronger. Having recorded three solo albums, the first of which with producer Mark Craig and the latest produced by the wildly talented Peter Sprague with whom Sylvia also recorded her second solo CD, Sylvia has also recorded several projects with her beloved “Crimson Bridge”, the most recent of which is the contemporary CD “Brand New Mercies”, produced by Randy Ray Mitchell and Billye Sluyter Johnstone.
